This page is a directory of the community organisations that we know about within our area. They are listed under the following headings Community Centres, Community Support, Parks, Retail and Finance, and Sports and Culture (click the links to view). It is, of course, a work-in-progress, and we’ll have inevitably missed groups out. If you know of something we’ve missed, please fill in the form here and we’ll get it added.
It has been created as a supplement to the Facebook group that members of Walton CLP have created so that the activity that is happening within Walton can be easily shared in a non-partisan / non party political space. The Facebook group looks to facilitate the power of local people in four ways:

Bridge Community Centre
Community Centre offering a variety of activities and support to the local community. We welcome residents from all areas and post codes.
Fazakerley Community Library
Fazakerley Community Library – part of Fazakerley Community Federation.
After restoring the former Walton Library, Liferooms converted it into a community hub and home for the Recovery College.
MyClubmoor Community Hub
As part of the MyClubmoor project currently happening in our neighbourhood, a team of local residents, artists and architects have been working for the past year on the process of turning this disused building into a hub for local activity.
Orrell Park Community Centre
Orrell Park Community Centre & Warbreck Community Hub provides an accessible, welcoming and friendly venue for local residents to meet and participate in a wide range of activities.
West Everton Community Council
West Everton Community Council is a Resident led organisation that exists to make sure that residents have a voice at all levels, in identifying and responding to all issues that directly affect the whole community.
The HOPE Project are a community of volunteers in LIVERPOOL who go out into Liverpool City Centre giving out a hot drink and a sandwich to our homeless
Love Walton CIC
Aims to make Walton a better place to live,work shop and socialise.
St. Andrew’s Community Network
St Andrew’s Community Network is an independent charity, set up in 2002, and came out of the church’s desire to play a part in making our community a better place.
Walton Youth Project
Walton Youth Project aims to raise the aspirations of children, young people and families and so develop confidence in themselves and their community.
Friends of Everton Park
The Friends of Everton Park, formed in 2010, are a group of over 380 members and, in partnership with the Council, Liverpool Biennial, The Land Trust and many others is forging ahead with plans to make Everton Park a visitor attraction of excellence.
Friends of Stanley Park / Stanley Park Junior Fun Run
A free 2k parkrun for 4-14 year olds. Come and join us in Stanley Park every Sunday at 9am!
Friends of Walton Hall Park
The friends of Walton hall park is a non for profit community group that is run entirely by volunteers. It was set up two years ago to improve the park.

Central Liverpool Credit Union
Now in our 26th year and as committed as ever to providing members with a sustainable, affordable, alternative to Payday, doorstop,and other high cost lenders.
Homebaked is a community land trust and co-operative bakery situated on the boundary between the neighbourhoods of Everton and Anfield, just opposite the Liverpool Football Club. The project is co-owned and co-produced by people who live and work in our area.
