Walton Community Groups

This page is a directory of the community organisations that we know about within our area. They are listed under the following headings Community Centres, Community Support, Parks, Retail and Finance, and Sports and Culture (click the links to view). It is, of course, a work-in-progress, and we’ll have inevitably missed groups out. If you know of something we’ve missed, please fill in the form here and we’ll get it added.

It has been created as a supplement to the Facebook group that members of Walton CLP have created so that the activity that is happening within Walton can be easily shared in a non-partisan / non party political space. The Facebook group looks to facilitate the power of local people in four ways:

🏡   To help those who are struggling, in a way that builds community.
📚   To share our skills and expertise to build collective confidence to affect change.
To create an ecosystem of social value and a lasting culture of solidarity.
🎼   To realise our creative capacities – to learn, flourish and enjoy.

As ever, if you want us to promote your group’s events or courses on the website’s calendar, you can submit events here.
